Our Programs
Our work unfolds through three interconnected programs—Farm, Food, and Leadership & Advocacy each designed to strengthen the bonds between land, culture, and community.
Farm
Our Farm Program offers Pre‑Columbian food education and applies Indigenous, sustainability‑based practices. We support BIPOC farmers, help families overcome food‑system barriers, and foster hands‑on care for the land.
Facilitate connection among land, food, culture, and healing
Engage the community in planting, caring for, and harvesting crops
Increase traditional food consumption within our community
Provide Education: on‑farm tours, voucher program, school visits, SNAP‑Ed at farmers markets, tasting tours
Build Connections: tasting tours and farmers‑market partnerships
Focus on Health: pop‑up health screenings, on‑farm outreach to migrant families, and support for basic needs
Food
The Food Program improves healthy eating by reducing barriers to fresh, nutrient‑dense produce. Working with local farmers, we broaden access to culturally appropriate foods and share ancestral knowledge.
Promote healthy eating habits
Provide low‑ to no‑barrier access to fresh fruits and vegetables
Support and collaborate with local farmers
Improve access to culturally appropriate foods for our community
Connect families to essential resources
Share ancestral cultural knowledge
Help families produce ethnic foods that boost household income
Leadership & Advocacy
Through Leadership & Advocacy, we build confidence, create economic equity, and open career pathways for youth and adults, while elevating Latinx voices to advance equitable systemic change.
Strengthen Latinx voices and collective power
Advocate for equitable systemic change
Empowerment: leadership development and internship opportunities
Education: information on financial aid and scholarships
Community: connect youth with elders and provide civic‑engagement opportunities
